1987 Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue! SOLD! I’ve had a ton of ES-335’s over the years but the 80s Dot reissues are among my favorites. A very nice looking and sounding guitar. Very vibey. 1982 was the 1st full year for the Dot reissue. Gibson was looking to get back to basics and return to the original 335 formula. Fast forward 27 years ago and these guitars have become super popular. The body is laminated maple with a maple sustain block. The 1 piece mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Original 57 Classic Humbuckers dish out big tone.
