NEW ARRIVALS!

1980 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe! $2099.99 Les Paul Deluxes just don't get any respect! They have long been overshadowed by Customs and Standards. Sadly overlooked in my opinion because a Gibson mini humbucker through a good amp can be a mind altering experience. Nice tight tone with better upper mids and highs than most "mudbuckers". This 1980 Deluxe is a good example of the breed. Mahogany body with a maple top. 3 piece maple neck (which some feel are more stable) sports a rosewood board with trapezoid fingerboard inlays. Dual mini hums dish out cool and bright tones. Tuneomatic and stopbar for added sustain. This one has had a tuner change and now sports a more recent set of Kluson style tuners. They work well. The black finish contrasts nicely with the cream plastic and binding. A really hip guitar for the bucks! Click Here for more info.

1985 Gibson CUSTOM SHOP ES-335 Dot Reissue! $2499.99 Here's an incredible Custom Shop ES-335 with tons of vibe and mojo! During the early 80s, Gibson was looking to get back to basics and return to the original 335 formula. Fast forward 20 some years and these guitars have become super popular. This one was built in the Custom Shop making it even more desirable than a stock model. I’ve heard some dealers call these Custom Shop guitars 1959 reissues. The body is laminated flame maple with a maple sustain block. Have a look at the figure on the wood. Very, very nice. The mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. The pickups are original Patent Applied For sticker 57 Classic reissues. The stickers are still on the pickup rings. Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Stopbar tailpiece and Tuneomatic bridge round out the hardware. The finish is a gorgeous vintage sunburst which has yellowed nicely over the years. What a great looking guitar! Click Here for more info.

1996 Gibson Tal Farlow! $2999.99 Designed by the legendary Tal Farlow, this guitar is a jazz player's dream! Gibson has always allied themselves with top players and it doesn't get much better than Tal Farlow. Incredible technique and an unsurpassed knowledge of the fretboard. Click here to see Tal from his Hot Licks instructional video. A great guitar for a great player. Reminiscent of an L-5 or ES-350 in body shape, the Tal Farlow has many unique features. The top back and sides are laminated figured maple. The cutaway features a unique Farlow designed scroll. The pickguard is quite unique and is bound with a single layer of white plastic. The 3 piece laminated maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with reverse J-200 fingerboard inlays. The bound headstock features dual crown inlays and a "Custom" truss rod cover. Smooth tone comes from dual 57 Classic humbuckers, a great recreation of Gibson's classic PAF. A fancy trapeze tailpiece (with Tal Farlow insert), Tuneomatic bridge with rosewood base and Grover Rotomatic tuners round out the hardware. All hardware is nickel plated for a vintage look. This instrument is finished in a rich wine red lacquer. An incredible looking guitar with deep, mellow tone. Also a great value as compared to most other Gibson archtops. The Gibson Tal Farlow is a classic. Click Here for more info.
