2008 Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour Stratocaster Relic! $3799.99 Fender's most ambitious recreation yet! The Custom Shop has went to great detail to replicate Gilmour's famous black Strat. The results are indeed stunning. Incredible workmanship and attention to detail as well as innovative features. The body is alder for classic tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. The pickups and switching system are innovative. At the bridge, a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 resides while a Custom Wound Strat pickup and a Custom Handwound Fat 50s Strat pickup occupy the middle and neck respectively. Along with a traditional 5 way switch, a mini toggle is installed in order to access other switching options. A vintage style trem with special short arm and vintage style tuners round out the hardware. The black over sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish compliments the single ply black acrylic pickguard. A relic aging treatment makes the guitar look just like Gilmour's, down to the last dent and ding! A pile of case candy comes along for the ride as well including an Evidence audio cable and a special book on Gilmour's black Strat, a DVD and tons of extras. 2005 Fender 60’s Reissue Stratocaster! $499.99 Fender’s Classic Series is one of the best bangs for the buck out there. Really hip recreations of vintage guitars at a price almost anyone can afford. As nice as many of the more expensive American Vintage instruments I’ve had in stock. This 60’s reissue Strat is no exception. An alder body means good tone. The maple, C shaped neck features a 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. A trio of Alnico magnet pickups are hooked to a 5 way switch for tons of tones. A vintage style trem and Kluson style tuners round out the picture. This example is finished in Lake Placid Blue, one of Fender’s most collectible custom colors of the 60’s. As 50s and 60s Strats become priced like new cars, these 70s models are the only affordable ones left! The body is ash for a distinctive tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a maple fretboard with 21 frets. A recent refret makes this one play like a champ. The pickups have been changed out for what appears to be Seymour Duncans. Greta sounding pickups. A vintage style trem with newer saddles and F style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is natural for a cool 70s vibe. The neck heel stamp is too faded for me to make out (click on highlighted words for more pics). The neck back looks good. No routs ever. Newer electronics, pickguard and pickups. 2008 Fender Custom Shop 60's Classic Relic Telecaster S-1! $2799.99 Boy oh boy what a great Tele! This cool 60's style Tele combines crazy cool relic looks and super playability to come up with a truly killer instrument. The best specs create the best guitars. The body is made from premium lightweight ash for big time tone. The neck is a large C backshape with a 9.5 inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. Quite a mouthful but you'll love it when you play it! A Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup and a Custom Shop '63 bridge pickup dish out huge tone. They are hooked to a 3 way switch, modern wiring and an S-1 switch. The S-1 switch allows you to access cool series tones for big Tele twang.  A 3 saddle string through bridge and American Standard sealed tuners round out the picture. The finish is a Fiesta Red Thin Skin nitrocellulose lacquer with a subtle relic treatment. The dealer that ordered it specified a bit more subdued relic treatment so this one isn't nearly as over the top as many. This guitar isn't listed in Fiesta Red on the Fender website and I've seen no other dealers offering this model in this color. It may be pretty dang rare. Very cool vibe. 2006 72 RI Fender Telecaster Thinline! $624.99 A great recreation of a 70s classic! The Thinline Tele offers classic Fender comfort and sounds along with semi hollow, humbucker smoothness. Very versatile with a warm tone but still able to get Fender sounds. One of my personal faves. The body is semi hollow and made of ash for resonant tones. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. This example even has some nice, subtle flame. Dual Seth Lover (father of the Gibson PAF humbucker) designed humbuckers dish out killer tones. A string through bridge and F tuners keep it all rock solid. 2002 Fender Buck Owens Telecaster! $1999.99 One of the coolest guitars you can find! A brilliant reissue of the elusive and rare Buck Owens limited edition Tele. Reports vary as to how many were made but most sources say the Fender Japan Custom Shop pumped out very few making these a highly collectible guitar. Great quality and stunning looks. The body is basswood for snappy tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. Dual alnico magnet single coils dish out killer tone. A string through bridge and vintage style tuners round out the hardware. The finish is an incredible red, white and blue sparkle that is set off by front and back body binding and gold hardware. 1996 Fender Telecaster Custom! $599.99 Outrageously cool looks! If you like a guitar with a ton of visual pizzazz, this Tele may be for you! Incredible Fender Japan quality. The body is basswood for snappy tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. Dual single coil pickups deliver trademark Tele twang. A 6 saddle, string through bridge and vintage style tuners round out the hardware. The finish is classic black and is set off by front and back  pearloid binding and gold hardware. 1992 Fender COPPER ’52 Telecaster Reissue! $1199.99 Nothing beats a Tele. Versatility, tone and looks. Leo Fender really knocked it out of the park when he designed the Broadcaster, Esquire and Tele models. Fender’s American Vintage Series is a great recreation of these classic instruments. All of the best 50’s specs are there. The ash body delivers a bright and airy tone that Tele players love. The one piece maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. Dual American Vintage single coil pickups dish out the twang and snap that a good Tele is known for. The original style 3 saddle string through bridge is essential for good sustain. 1979 Fender Precision Bass! $1799.99 If you're looking for vintage vibe at a good price, have a look at late 70s and early 80s Fenders. They have steadily increased in price over recent years as players discover these nearly 30 year old instruments. Cool looks and made in the USA Fender quality. This 1980 P-Bass is a great example of the breed. The body is ash for good tone. The 34 inch scale maple neck features a maple fretboard with 20 frets. A split coil humbucking pickup delivers great vintage tone. An adjustable bridge and vintage style tuners round out the package. The finish is a nice 3 color sunburst which is set off by black plastic. This bass is 100 percent original. Opening it u you'll find the correct neck heel decal (click on highlighted words for pics), neck heel stamp, and neck pocket markings. The original pickups and pots are there. 2008 Squier by Fender Classic Vibe 60s Jazz Bass! $274.99 Wow! What an incredible value! I wish low priced gear was this good when I was a kid! These new Squier Classic Vibe instruments are great for the bucks. They combine classic vintage styling with modern feel and features. This 60's style Jazz Bass is no exception. The body is basswood for great tone. The 34 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 20 vintage frets. A duo of Alnico magnet single coils deliver classic tone. A Hi-mass bridge and vintage style tuners round out the package. The finish is a gorgeous Olympic White and is set off by a tortoiseshell pickguard and a tinted maple neck. 2000 Fender Japan 50's Reissue Stratocaster! SOLD! Super cool color! Here’s one of the coolest Japanese Strats I’ve had in years! Not for export, this was intended to only be sold in Japan and has top notch features found in most other Japanese reissues. The body is ash (not basswood as on most reissues) just like a vintage Strat. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. The neck has a nice vintage style tint. The coolest things about these Japanese market only reissues is that they feature American made TEXAS SPECIAL pickups. The pickups are hooked to a 5 way switch and volume, tone, tone controls and mounted on a single ply pickguard. A vintage style trem offers hip vibrato effects. These come from the factory with Ping brand Kluson copy tuners. The body wears a cool and somewhat rare natural finish. A really great Strat that is ready for the gigging pro! SOLD!

Fender has made many player-centric upgrades to their American instruments over the years. Vintage looks and modern playability. This one is even better thanks to an upgraded pickup! This example is finished in a hip transparent blue. The finishes on all Highway Ones are a thin satin matte lacquer that really lets the tone out. 2008 Fender California Sonoran SCE Custom! SOLD!Looking for an acoustic with traditional tones but cool looks? The Fender Sonoran delivers! Cool 60's looks with some crazy color choices. Good quality throughout. The top is solid spruce while the back and sides are mahogany. The 25.3 inch maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. An active onboard preamp and under saddle pickup lets you plug in. Kluson style tuners and a rosewood bridge keep it all together. The guitar is finished in classic Surf Green and the Strat shaped headstock is painted to match. Cool features include checkerboard rosette and pearloid binding. A really cool looking guitar!
