1990 Fender American Vintage 57 Reissue Stratocaster! $1299.99 A great recreation of a 57 Strat in one of the best colors! Cool upgrades too! Fender's American Vintage series recreates legendary instruments with great USA made quality. Nice attention to detail and excellent workmanship. This one is no exception. The body is alder for killer vintage tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. The pickups have been upgraded to Fender Texas Specials for killer blues tone. Fender's classic trem and Kluson style tuners round out the package. The finish is Ocean Turquoise lacquer or at least that's what the original owner told me. It sort of looked Lake Placid Blue to me but after spending some time with it, I'm not 100% sure. Either way, it's some kinda blue-ish color. If it makes you feel better, I'll come up with a snappy custom color name like "Basin Street Blue", "Tidy Bowl Blue", or "Smurfy Azure". Fender Pin Up Girl Precision Jazz Bass! $599.99 If you're getting ready to shoot your next music video, I have your bass! A really cool customized instrument that's oozing with vibe and mojo. Frankly I have no idea how this instrument started life. I suspect it was put together from several instruments, refinished and customized to the state you see here. I have no idea who made what or when they were made. The body looks to be alder and is slab bodied (no contours) like an early 50s P-Bass or a Tele bass. The 34 inch scale maple neck features a maple fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. It looks to be from an old Jazz Bass. A Mighty Mite split coil pickup dishes out vintage tone.
