Gibson’s Les Paul Standard is a dream guitar for many folks. A classic combo of looks, tone and quality. Many player love the 90s Standards for their great quality and good specs. All of the classic ingredients of the Les Paul tonal recipe are here. The mahogany body adds warmth while the carved, figured maple top adds brightness and beauty. The 1 piece mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Stock Gibson 490 series humbucker deliver classic tones. A Stopbar tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and Kluson style tuners round out the package. This example is finished in black lacquer. A really great looking guitar. Accept no substitutes, own a real Les Paul!

This Les Paul has nice tone and good feel. The pickups sound great and the slim to medium taper neck is easy to play. The pickups sound great and deliver a variety of tones. The frets show some denting but play fine. Everything works as it should. This is a solid used guitar for a player. Not a collector piece, it shows moderate pick and clearcoat scratches, some belt wear, as well as some chips, dents and dings. It has definitely seen some miles but has picked up character along the way. The original hardshell case shows similar wear and the shroud is detached on one side.

I always love to have some nice Les Pauls in stock. It's getting increasingly harder for me to find nice examples. I'm literally paying what I used to sell them for a few short years back. Here's one with great vibe. A new Gibson Les Paul Standard is big bucks at the superstores. Here's a nice used one for less.
