I’ve had several of these reissue Firebird VII’s and every time I get another, I’m bowled over by the classic good looks! Gibson’s Firebird has long been one of the most unique instruments out there! It doesn’t get much more rock n roll than a Firebird! The Firebird VII is the top of the line. Deluxe features and appointments. The Firebird incorporates many innovative construction techniques. The neck through body is made of a 9 ply walnut and mahogany with mahogany wings. This gives a Firebird a unique biting tone. The bound ebony fingerboard features gorgeous pearl block inlays. A trio of high output mini humbuckers are perfect for blues and rock n roll. Innovative banjo style tuners team up with a Tuneomatic bridge and a smooth Vibrola tailpiece for a rock solid experience. All hardware is gold plated and the whole package exudes class. This one is finished in candy apple red metallic, reminiscent of expensive 60s Custom Color examples. An incredible guitar in terms of looks and performance!

This Firebird plays and sounds great. The neck is straight and the action is low. The pickups and electronics sound great. Very versatile. No repairs or issues. This is a well taken care of used guitar. It shows some light pick and clearcoat scratches, some very light indents and some very light gold fade on the hardware. Overall, very clean. Comes in brown Gibson hardshell case which is missing the combo lock.

I’ve always admired the looks and sound of a Gibson Firebird. This example is easily one of the most stunning that I’ve ever had in stock. Gibson only offers a Firebird VII in an extremely pricey Custom Shop version. $5000 and up prices on those at the stores. Here's one for lots, lots less.
