Here's a very cool limited run Strat with some awesome features! Fender's American Deluxe Series offers quality that rivals the Custom Shop along with many player oriented improvements to produce an excellent guitar. This American Deluxe Fat Strat is a great choice for the player looking for classic Fender tone but also the punch of a humbucker and a warm mahogany body. That's right, the body is mahogany for that smooth, warm tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and delicate abalone dot inlays. The headstock is black for a cool look. A factory Fender Diamondback humbucker and a duo of Fender Tex Mex pickups dish out a variety of tones. Fender's innovative pushbutton S-1 system teams up with a 5 way switch for a variety of settings. The 2 point trem teams up with an LSR roller nut and locking tuners for rock solid performance. The finish is a very cool cherry red transparent that really sets of the mahogany. A really top notch guitar.
Like most modern Fenders, this American Deluxe plays and sounds great. The C shaped neck and big frets make for easy bends. The pickups sound great with tons of tone. Everything works as it should. This is a nice clean guitar too. Collector owned, it shows some very light playwear and pick scratches. Very nice looking. Comes in Fender hardshell case.
