Fender’s Classic Series 50’s reissue Strat is one of my favorite deals out there. Really cool guitars for the bucks and much more affordable than the expensive American Vintage reissues. A well done recreation of a 50’s Strat. Comfort contoured alder body means good tone. The one piece, soft V shaped maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. A trio of Alnico magnet single coil pickups are hooked to a 5 way switch for good Strat tone. Kluson style tuners and a vintage style trem keep everything solid. This example is finished in very cool and hard to find Fiesta Red. A very cool salmon/orange that really looks like a rare 50’s Custom Color guitar. A single ply pickguard along with aged knobs set it off. A really cool guitar for the bucks and in one of the hardest to find colors!
Like most Classic Series Fenders, this guitar plays and sounds good. The V shaped neck feels great and has nice action. The pickups and electronics work fine. This is a clean guitar too. It shows some light pick and clearcoat scratches and some minor playwear. Very nice looking. Comes in a gigbag.
I’ve had several of these Classic Series reissues. This Fiesta Red is easily my favorite thanks to its hip color. It’s probably the toughest color to find as I’ve only had a handful over the years. A new one will cost you $699 at the superstores. This one is clean, ready to play and priced right. BUY IT NOW and own a great Strat!
