It's hard to beat an American Strat. Fender has made many player-centric upgrades to their American instruments over the years. Vintage looks and modern playability. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 frets. A trio of American Standard single coils dish out tones from clean to mean. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action why sealed tuners keep it solid. This example is finished in Clapton style black. A killer look set off by chrome hardware and white plastic. It doesn't get much cooler than that!
Thanks to a bigger frets and a flatter fingerboard, American Series Strats generally play great. Bends are easy and playability is excellent. The neck is straight and the action is low on this one. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. Condition wise, this is a solid used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches, light to moderate indents and some scuffing on the bottom edge. Overall in good shape for someone looking to play rather than collect. Comes in a Fender Plus hardshell case.
