An outrageously nice Les Paul Deluxe! Super clean, check out the pictures! An under the bed guitar that we just acquired from the estate of the original owner. A once in a lifetime opportunity to grab a great vintage Les Paul here folks. A Gibson mini humbucker through a good amp can be a mind altering experience. This 1974 Deluxe is a good example of the breed. Mahogany body with a maple top. 3 piece maple neck (which some feel are more stable) sports a rosewood board with trapezoid fingerboard inlays. Dual mini hums dish out cool and bright tones. Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Gibson Deluxe tuners team up for rock solid performance. The finish is Gibson's classic goldtop lacquer. This one is 100% straight with original electronics and pots dated to 1974. One of the nicest 70s Gibsons we've ever seen!
This Deluxe sounds and plays great. The original frets show very little signs of use. The neck is straight and the action is good. The pickups sound awesome and all of the electronics work as they should. No cracks, breaks or repairs ever. As we mentioned, this is one of the nicest 70s Gibsons we've seen. It's in incredible shape for its age. The original owner bought it and hardly ever played it. Look at the finish for a second and check out how glossy it is. Check out the edges of the headstock and notice how crisp they are. Look at the chrome plating and notice the very minimal corrosion. As nice as it gets. There are some finish checks on the top and a few that are almost unnoticeable on the back of the headstock. Nothing major at all. There's an indent on the back of the neck roughly a 3rd of the way down. You would have to be a real nitpicker to be bothered by it. The knobs have been changed as well as the jack plate but I will include the original jackplate. The guitar shows only the lightest playwear and scratches. It could put many 6 month old Les Pauls to shame in terms of condition. Mind blowing! The original case is very nice as well and includes the original warranty card and purchase receipt. Time warp!
This is a once in a lifetime guitar. They are only this clean and original once. Here's your chance to grab an incredible Les Paul. Any collector will tell you to buy the nicest example you can find. You would be hard pressed to find a Deluxe in much nicer shape. Don't miss out!
