1994 Fender American Stratocaster! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! I've always loved the feel and tone of an American Strat. Fender has made many player-centric upgrades to their American instruments over the years. Vintage looks and modern playability. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of American Standard single coils dish out big tone. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action while and a set of sealed tuners keep it solid. This example is finished in gorgeous white, one of my favorite colors. A great Strat that's ready for the player! Thanks to a big frets and a flatter fingerboard, American Series Strats generally play great. Bends are easy and playability is excellent. The neck is straight and the action is low on this one. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. Condition wise, this one is a solid used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick, belt and clearcoat scratches as well as some indents and dings. Good overall condition. Comes in a Fender hardshell case. Fender's new prices seem to go up every year. A new American Standard will set you back a whopping $999 in stores. Wow, that's a big chunk of change! Here's a great way to get an awesome guitar at a great price! ST#SG8X3/USAXNX4180117XX122011 |
