2007 Fender Japan Jaguar FSR 1966 Classic Limited Edition Reissue! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Fender's Jaguar was once the top of the line model and is still loved by surfers, punkers, rockers and just about anyone that can appreciate cool looks and tone. Fender Japan's reissues are regarded players and collectors. Many folks would prefer a Japanese Fender to a more expensive American guitar. Here's a limited edition model with some cool features. The body is alder for snappy tone and light weight. The 24 inch scale maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Two vintage style single coils dish out retro tone. Jag vibrato, adjustable bridge and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is classic Candy Apple Red set off by chrome hardware and white plastic. A great guitar for a variety of styles! This Jaguar plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The pickups dish out a variety tones. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this is a nice used guitar showing normal playwear. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some light indents and dings. Nothing major. Comes in a gigbag. Fender no longer offers the Japanese made 66 Reissue. Many players prefer the earlier Japanese made reissues to the American or Mexican ones.
