Ibanez made its name by offering players top quality guitars at great prices. They managed to send the big US makers into fits thanks to making copies that were arguably better than the originals.  This 2341 is a seldom seen model with some cool features. Very rare. All of the hardware is quite fancy with factory engraving.  The body is a typical LP shape and features an arched top. The 24.75 inch scale neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. A trio of Super 80s pickups deliver big tone. Check them out. They actually have the cool Flying Finger engraved on the covers. Fancy engraved tailpiece and bridge team up with Star tuners. The finish is black and is set off with multiple binding and gold hardware. A very cool guitar that is sure to appeal to an Ibanez collector.

Like most Japanese guitars of the era, this guitar plays and sounds good. Nice feeling neck with good action. The pickups sound great and electronics work as they should. This would be a great guitar for a player. It shows pick, clearcoat and belt scratches, dents, chips, and dings and corrosion on the hardware. Honest wear for a guitar of this age. Comes in a period correct hardshell case.

This is a very rare and cool Ibanez. I've had several LP copies in my hands but this is the first one with a Frampton meets Faberge vibe. A cool guitar for a player or a collector.
