A Gibson Classic! The Thunderbird Bass is well known among bass players for its cool looks and huge low end. The reverse body is neck through and made from 9 ply walnut and mahogany laminates. The 34 inch scale neck features an ebony fingerboard with dot inlays. Dual TB Plus ceramic magnet humbuckers dish out big tone. Sealed tuners and an adjustable bridge round out the hardware. The finish is Gibson's classic sunburst for a killer look. A great bass with unique tones and incredible looks!
This Thunderbird Bass has big tone that will excel in many forms of music. A staple for hard rock and metal, the T-Bird Bass is known for strong lows and mids. This one has medium action, good frets and solid feel. The TB Plus humbuckers sound great and the electronics work fine. It would be good for a player and not a collector. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches, moderate belt wear, some hardware corrosion and some dents and dings. Still a good looking instrument. Comes in original hardshell case.
The Gibson Thunderbird Bass is a great choice for players looking for something different that the typical Fender choices. Big low end and great feel. Hard to find new, these are killer rock basses.
