Nashville Tuneomatic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece for rock solid tone. The Grover mini Rotomatic tuners are dependable and accurate. This example is finished in classic black and set off by chrome hardware. Rock guitars don't get much cooler than an Explorer!
This Explorer has good feel and nice tone. The slim taper neck is straight and the action is good. The pickups are loud and powerful. This is a nice used guitar. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches, light to moderate belt wear as well as some indents and dings. Comes in original hardshell case.
A Gibson Explorer is a legendary instrument. Classic lines and powerful tone. A new one would cost you $1399 plus another $299 for the pickups in the superstores. Buy a used one and save some dough! This is as cool as it gets without mortgaging your house for an original 50’s (or even a 70s model the way prices are going) example!
