2008 Fender Telecaster Deluxe 72 Reissue! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Looking for a Tele that can handle Gibson territory? The Tele Deluxe was designed in the 70s to compete with the Les Paul. Big humbucking power but with a unique Fender flavor. Many players have fallen in love with the Tele Deluxe over the years thanks to its unique tone and cool looks. These 1972 reissues bring back these beloved guitars with awesome quality and attention to detail. Some folks prefer them to the vintage originals! The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 12 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. A duo of Fender's highly regarded Wide Range humbuckers (designed by the father of the Gibson humbucker, Seth Lover) deliver big tone. A string through bridge and Schaller F tuners round out the hardware. This example is finished in classic black. A great reissue faithful to the original in every detail! This guitar plays and sounds great! The flat fingerboard radius and big frets make bending easy. The neck is straight and the action is low. The pickups sound awesome with tons of bite and warm mids. Many players love the Wide Range humbuckers for their clarity and unique voice. A really cool guitar. Condition wise, this is a nice used guitar. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some light indents. A good looking guitar. Comes in an aftermarket hardshell case. These new reissues compare favorably to the originals and sometimes surpass them in terms of tone and build quality. A great guitar that offers a Fender take on a Gibson formula. A new one will cost you $699 with a gigbag. Here's one that's ready to go and comes with an upgraded hardshell case. ST#SG8X0/MIMMZ8041665XXXX112411 |
