Fender's Strat Plus is poised to become a future classic. A great combo of top of the line features and great American made quality. The body is alder for good sound and weight. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of Gold Lace Sensor pickups offer powerful tone with very little noise. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action while a roller nut and locking tuners keep it accurate. The finish is Fender's classic sunburst set off with a pearloid pickguard. Fender's Strat Plus series always feels great to me. The big frets and flat radius neck offer easy playability. The Lace Sensor pickups are powerful, bright and have very little noise. They are very clear and are great with effects. Everything works as it should on this example. The neck is straight, action is low and the electronics work fine. This is a nice guitar for its age. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches, light playwear and some light indents and dings. Nothing major. Comes in a Fender molded hardshell case.
This is a great guitar in a classic color. A fine instrument to add to any collection. Strat Pluses have steadily increased in price over the years with me buying them for more than what I used to sell them for. Definitely a great guitar and sure to be a classic in coming years.
