Fender's Strat Plus has been discontinued a few years back but still has a big following on the used market. Many players love the advanced features, powerful Lace Sensor pickups and great quality of these USA built guitars. Nearly top of the line in the 80s and 90s, these guitars are being discovered by a new generation of players for their quality and cool tones. The body is ash for good sound and weight. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of Lace Sensor pickups offer powerful tone with very little noise. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action while a roller nut and locking tuners keep it accurate. This example is finished in natural and set off by a tortoise colored pickguard. A cool looking Strat!

This Strat plays fine and has good tone. The neck is straight with good action. The frets are in good shape. The pickups sound great and deliver a variety of tones. The electronics work as they should. This guitar is in solid shape for its age. It shows light to moderate pick, clearcoat, and belt scratches as well as some indents and dings. The hardware shows some corrosion as well. Still good looking. Comes in a Fender hardshell case with one busted latch.

This is a cool American made Strat at a good price. Strat Plus guitars have steadily increased in value over the past few years. Here's one in a cool color.
