Big time Hendrix vibe! Fender Japan is well known for making top notch guitars that offer great value for players. This 67 reissue Strat is no exception. The body is basswood for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a maple fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. The pickups have been upgraded to Fender Custom SHop Texas Specials at the bridge and neck and a Seymour Duncan ALnico II at the neck. The bridge saddles have been upgraded to a set of graphite units but the originals are included. Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is classic Olympic White set off with white plastic and chrome hardware. From the big headstock to the classic looks, this Strat nails the vibe of the Woodstock era!

This Strat has killer feel. The action is great and the neck feels excellent. The frets show light wear.  The pickups sound great delivering classic Strat tone. Very good guitar for the gigging musician. Condition wise, this is a solid used Strat. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches and a moderate amount of indents and dings. The neck pocket shows typical for the era finish check lines. Normal, honest wear but still good looking. Comes in a Hendrix gigbag.

Fender Japan is well known for making great instruments. Many players prefer them over more expensive American guitars. This example is one of the harder to find reissues. A great value when considering the quality and utility.
