2002 Fender 60’s Reissue Stratocaster! SOLD!

Click any picture for supersize view!

Fender’s Classic Series is one of the best bangs for the buck out there. Really hip recreations of vintage guitars at a price almost anyone can afford. As nice as many of the more expensive American Vintage instruments I’ve had in stock. This 60’s reissue Strat is no exception. An alder body means good tone. The maple, C shaped neck features a 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. A trio of Alnico magnet pickups are hooked to a 5 way switch for tons of tones. A vintage style trem and Kluson style tuners round out the picture. This example is finished in Lake Placid Blue, one of Fender’s most collectible custom colors of the 60’s. It is set off nicely by a mint pickguard and aged plastic. A really great guitar for the bucks that captures the vibe of an original 60s Strat!

This Strat has nice feel and trademark Fender tone. The C shaped neck plays well and has nice, low action. The pickups and electronics work and sound great. This is a solid used example. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches as well as light to moderate indents and dings. Comes in a gigbag.

The Classic Series has long been one of my favorites thanks to its great value. They really capture the look and vibe of an expensive vintage guitar without having to mortgage your house. A new one will set you back $699 in stores. This one is cheaper and ready to roll. BUY IT NOW and own a great guitar!
