An incredible tribute to the iconic 1951 P-Bass! Built by Fender Japan, this instrument shows why player love these Japanese built instruments. Great attention to detail and quality materials. The body is ash for killer tone. The 34 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 20 vintage style frets. An original style P-Bass single coil pickup resides in the middle position dishing out big vintage tone. A vintage style string through bridge and vintage style tuners round out the hardware. The finish is Fender's classic 50s style butterscotch blonde set off by a black pickguard. A great looking bass at an incredible price.
Like most Fender Japan instruments, this bass plays and sounds great. An excellent instrument for the bucks. The neck is comfy and the action is good. The tone is vintage with distinctive top end. A nice bass. This is a well taken care of used instrument. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches. Very clean. Comes in a gigbag.
