Fender's Jaguar was once the top of the line model and is still loved by surfers, punkers, rockers and just about anyone that can appreciate cool looks and tone. Fender Japan's guitars are regarded players and collectors. Many folks would prefer a Japanese Fender to a more expensive American guitar. This example came from the factory as a hot rodded take on the classic Jaguar. The body is alder for snappy tone and light weight. The 24 inch scale maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Two special design Dragster humbuckers deliver big tone. An Adjustomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is classic black set off by chrome hardware and black plastic. A great guitar for a variety of styles! This Jaguar plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The pickups dish out a variety tones. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this is a solid used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick and clearciat scratches, modertae belt wear, moderate scratches on the pickguard as well as a few indents and dings. An aftermarket hardshell case, which shows some wear, is included. This is a great choice for anyone looking for classic Jaguar vibe with modern performance. Big tone and great feel.
