A cool custom creation! Sometimes it's a great idea to build a guitar to your specs. Beat the system! This guitar was built with some nice parts. I'm not sure who built it. It is marked D Fairweather on the inside. Whoever D Fairweather is, he did a great job. The body is a nicely figured ash replacement. The neck is an Allparts licensed by Fender Strat neck. 25.5 inch scale maple with a maple fingerboard and 21 frets. A vintage style decal has been applied. A killer sounding set of Don Mare single coils have been installed. Mare pickups are well known among the tone savvy for their authentic sound. They wear a set of cool and extremely expensive aged 54 style repro covers. A vintage style trem and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a reliced 2 tone sunburst lacquer. The aging is very authentic and looks killer. A great tribute to a legend!

This is a great playing and sounding Strat. The neck is very beefy and feels great. The action is good and the frets are in great shape. The pickups sound awesome and deliver killer tone. The electronics work as they should. The instrument looks to have seen little playing time. The finish is distressed to look quite beat up so I would have to call it relic mint condition. Comes in an aftermarket hardshell case.

This is a great looking guitar that would cost a good bit of cash and effort to put together yourself. Nice quality and great features. It sure looks more expensive than what it is! Excellent bang for the buck.
