2011 Fender 60th Anniversary Indiana Barn Old Pine 1952 Reissue Telecaster! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Tele with a very cool and limited guitar! The body is made from actual salvaged 100 year old pine from a barn in Indiana. You can't get more old growth than that. Made in the USA, this guitar has great specs. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. 62 Telecaster Custom single coils deliver big tone. A vintage style 3 saddle bridge and vintage style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a hand rubbed oil on the body and lacquer on the neck. A killer looking and sounding guitar! This is a great sounding and feeling Tele. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. The body is resonant and full of tone. The pickups deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. Collector owned, this is a nice used guitar. The hand rubbed finish could be considered pre-distressed from the factory as it shows indents and the character in the salvaged wood. It's a thin finish and despite very little playtime, it's already showing arm wear. A very cool finish that is sure to look very aged and cool in no time. Comes in original and very cool deluxe hardshell case. This Tele is a great blend of traditional looks, awesome tonewoods and killer features. The superstores are nearly sold out and charging $1799 while supplies last. Here's your chance to grab one for less. SOLD! |
