You just can't beat an American Strat. Fender has made many player-centric upgrades to their American instruments over the years. Vintage looks and modern playability. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of American Standard single coils dish out tones from clean to mean. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action why sealed tuners keep it solid. This example is finished in a cool silver. A believe Fender called it Shoreline Gold but it's closer to Inca Silver in my opinion. A very uncommon color. A great Strat that's ready for the player!

Thanks to a big frets and a flatter fingerboard, American Series Strats generally play great. Bends are easy and playability is excellent. The neck is straight and the action is low on this one. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. Condition wise, this one is a solid used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches, some indent and one longer scratch on the back. Comes in a Fender hardshell case which is fairly beat and has some cracks and broken feet. Still functional.

Fender's new prices seem to go up every year. A new American Standard will set you back a whopping $999.99 in stores. You won't find a color this cool in the new line up though. Why not grab a hip looking guitar and save some money too?
