If you grew up on Les Pauls and want to get into the world of Paul Reed Smith, the Singlecut may be just the guitar for you! Designed with traditional players in mind, this guitar has many classic features not found on other PRS products. The body is mahogany with a carved maple top. The 25 inch scale mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. PRS #7 Treble and Bass humbuckers deliver big tones. A PRS stop tailpiece and vintage style tuners keep it all rock solid. This example is finished in a very vintage looking goldtop. An incredible guitar with a cool look. One of the early models prior to the Gibson Lawsuit. If you want a PRS with classic tone, look no further!
This PRS plays great and sounds awesome. The wide /fat neck is comfortable and very familiar to most players. The action is low, the frets are good and the neck is straight. The #7 pickups sound wonderful producing a killer vintage tone. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this one is definitely for a player, not a collector. It shows moderate playwear, scratches, dents and dings. Nothing too major but not for a picky collector type. Comes in original hardshell case which has a busted hinge but is still functional.
This is a great guitar that combines PRS innovation with classic tradition. A wonderful guitar for a player. Incredible USA made quality and attention to detail. Here's a nice example that's ready to go.
