Basses just don't get much better than the Stingray. Super tone and feel has made these the basses of choice for many pro players. Need a top notch fretless for your arsenal? Here's a contender. Made in the USA to the highest standards of quality. The Stingray has a select ash body for good tone. The 34 inch scale maple neck features an 11 inch radius lined, fretless maple fingerboard. The back of the neck has a satin finish for easy playability. The famous Musicman humbucker is hooked to an active preamp with treble, bass and volume controls. A music man bridge and Schaller tuners round out the hardware. This example is finished in a cool transparent blue finish. Quite striking. Many players would take a Stingray over a P-bass any day of the week. Find out why!

This Stingray plays and sounds great. The neck is straight and the action is good. Set up with flatwounds, it has nice feel. The pickup sounds awesome and the electronics deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. This would make a good bass for a player. Not a collector piece. It shows moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as some dents and dings. Still good looking and a cool vibe. Comes in a beat but functional aftermarket hardshell case.

It's hard to beat a Stingray. Killer tones, USA quality and great feel. Fretless models are tough to come by, especially in a maple neck. A new one will cost you $1435 in stores. Here's a used one for less.
