It's hard to beat a Les Paul Special as a killer rock guitar. Stripped to only the essentials for tone, the LP Special excels at a variety of genres. Good quality and made in the USA too. The body is made from Honduras mahogany for killer sustain. The one piece mahogany features a bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Dual P-90s deliver big tone. A Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece, and Kluson style tuners round out the package. The finish is a gloss heritage cherry lacquer. If you dig look and tone of a vintage Les Paul Special but can’t handle the price tag, this could be your guitar!
This Les Paul has typical Gibson feel. Nice neck with low action. The pickups sound great with tons of sustain and growl. This is a nice used guitar. It has been very well taken care of. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches, moderate belt wear as well as some light indents. Comes in a Gibson gigbag.
This is a nice USA made Gibson at an affordable price. A new Single Cut Les Paul Special will cost you $1299 at the superstores. Here's one for a lot less.
