Modern feel with Martin quality and tone! The Martin DCPA4 is a killer stage and studio performer thanks to its great feel and innovative electronics. All of the classic tone ingredients are here. Solid woods throughout, the top is solid Sitka spruce while the back and sides are solid sapele. The 25.4 inch scale neck features Martin's new parallel taper. Slimmer towards the 12th fret, it allows easier chording up and down the neck. The guitar features the Fishman F1 Analog pickup and preamp system. It has a built in tuner as well as a cool series of presets giving you various miced acoustic sounds. A natural finish set off with a tortoise guard gives it an understated look. A great guitar whether you're gigging for the crowd or rocking the living room.
This Martin feels and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are great. The electronics deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this is a nice used guitar. Well taken care of, it shows light pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some very light indents. A great example. Comes in original hardshell case.
If you' re a player looking for a nice, contemporary feel and classic tone, look no further. This Martin may be the ticket. $1199 in the superstore, this one will save you some bucks.
