It's hard to beat an American Strat. Fender has made many player-centric upgrades to their American instruments over the years. Vintage looks and modern playability. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of American Standard single coils dish out tones from clean to mean. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action why sealed tuners keep it solid. This example is finished in Chrome Red. A killer look set off by chrome hardware and white plastic. It doesn't get much cooler than that!

Thanks to a big frets and a flatter fingerboard, American Series Strats generally play great. Bends are easy and playability is excellent. The neck is straight and the action is low on this one. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. Condition wise, this one is a solids used guitar. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some light indents. It has one touched up ding along the edge. Nothing big for a player. Comes in a Fender hardshell case.

Fender's new prices seem to go up every year. A new American Standard will set you back a whopping $999 in stores. Here's a nice used one in a classic color. Save big!
