1982 Fender Fullerton 52 RI Telecaster! SOLD!

Click any picture for supersize view!

Early Fullerton built reissues are hot right now. Made in the same factory by some of the same workers on some of the same tooling as the originals, this 26 year old beauty may be as close as you get to the real deal. These early 52 RI's have the specs we all know and love. Ash body for great tone. 25.5 inch scale maple neck with  7.5 inch radius maple fingerboard and 21 vintage style frets. 3 saddle string through bridge and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. Cool, aged butterscotch finish. The pickups on this one are more recent reissue Vintage  models. The switch is wired as a modern 3 way as most players prefer. Markings on the neck (click highlighted words for pics) and neck pocket are all good. No routs under the pickguard. Groovy wiring harness with 82 pots. 3600 series serial number.. A really cool and very vibey guitar. Fool your friends!

This Tele plays and sounds good. The neck is slim and comfy. Not big like more recent ones. The frets are dressed low but the guitar still plays fine. The finish has been removed or played off the back of the neck for a smooth feel. The pickups sound excellent with lots of spank. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this guitar is comparable to a newer relic. Lots of cool, natural wear over the years. I think it must have spent a bunch of time on the bar circuit.  The tuners were changed at one point. Some recent Kluson style replacements with adaptor bushings have been installed. Super awesome looking guitar. Comes with original tweed case.

Guitars with vibe like this don't come around often. Fullerton reissues have been coming on strong in recent years. A reproduction of the original built in the same factory by many of the same craftsman. A great guitar for a player. I would love to keep it but I can't keep them all. Give it a great home.
