Wow! This is a heckuva lotta guitar for very little money! ESP’s LTD Series continues to blow me away by packing a ton of guitar performance in an easy to afford package. Seriously, these things will blow away many higher priced guitars. Good quality throughout. The bound body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch maple neck features a maple fingerboard with 22 extra jumbo frets. Dual single coil pickups deliver powerful traditional tones. A 6 saddle string through bridge and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is black and features LTD's cool distressing treatment. It's just like a beat up vintage guitar at a fraction of the price. A very cool guitar for hardly any money!
Like most LTDs I've had, this TE-202 feels and sounds great for the money. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The pickups deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. This was recently purchased by a collector and traded in to yours truly. It has seen very little playtime. Hardly any use. As it is a distressed finish, it comes from the factory with dents, dings and wear. Comes in a free lightweight gigbag.
There’s not much else out there in the league of these guitars. Fit and finish is above many other brands and when you factor in the cool finish, these guitars are real winners. The competition has a lot to worry about with opponents like these.
