The PRS McCarty is a tribute to the former Gibson president's legacy in the guitar industry. Incredible quality and features. The body is mahogany for warm tone while the top is carved flame maple. The mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with moon inlays. PRS McCarty P-90s deliver incredible tones. A very, very rare on a McCarty SPECIAL ORDER PRS trem and PRS locking tuners keep it rock solid. The McCarty burst finish is gorgeous and really sets off the gorgeous wood. An incredible guitar for most any player!
Like most PRS guitars I've owned, this one has good feel and tone. The Wide-Fat neck feels great and the frets are good. The electronics work great and the pickups sound awesome. This is a nicely taken care of example. It shows some light pick and clearcoat scratches and some minor playwear. Clean for its age. Comes in original hardshell case.
The McCarty is one of Paul Reed Smith's most popular models. Great PRS build quality and innovation along with traditional tone. A great guitar. A new one will cost you $3014 at the superstores if you can find one. Here's one for a lot less.
