 2001 G&L ASAT Classic! SOLD!

G&L's have won many fans for offering great performance and features along with sensible prices. G&L guitars were the brainchild of Leo Fender and George Fullerton and could be considered new and improved versions of their classic designs. Made in the USA to the highest standards of quality. Here's a cool ASAT Classic that captures the 50s Blackguard vibe. Circa 2001-ish according to the serial number. The body is swamp ash for killer tone. Dual Magnetic Field Design pickups dish out big, big, big single coil tone. G&L's 6 saddle vintage style bridge and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous butterscotch set off by black plastic. A cool G&L!

Like most G&L guitars I've had in stock, this ASAT plays and sounds great. The neck is straight and the frets show some wear but play fine. The pickups sound excellent and the electronics work as they should. A great guitar. Condition wise, this is a good used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches on the body and moderate scratches on the pickguard. It shows some indents as well. Not perfect but still nice looking. Comes in a G&L hardcase.

G&L guitars have always impressed me thanks to great playability, excellent features and an excellent price. If you are considering buying a Fender American Series guitar, you owe it to yourself to check out a G&L. A lot of bang for the buck, especially on the used market. This model will cost you at least $1600 in the superstores, if you can find one. Here's a nice used one for less.

SOLD!
