A killer OM Martin! From Martin's new sustainable wood series, this OM is built with sustainable tone woods for great tone and feel. Made in the USA quality throughout. The top is solid Sitka spruce while the back and sides are solid cherry for killer tone. The 25.4 inch scale solid cherry neck features an exotic katalox fingerboard with dot inlays. Solid Sitka tone braces are arranged in a X braced pattern for excellent sound and projection. The bridge is katalox and features a Tusq saddle while sealed tuners keep it rock solid. Nice appointments include a tortoise pickguard, binding and headstock overlay. Gold plated tuners give it a classy look. The finish is a gloss lacquer on top and a satin finish on the back, sides, and neck. A great looking guitar made with quality solid woods.
This Martin plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The OM body shape is comfortable and offers clear tone. A great sounding flat top. Condition wise, this is a clean used guitar. Very little playwear. It shows light pick scratches as well as some light indents. A very good looking guitar. Comes in original hardshell case.
This OM is a great guitar at a great price. Top notch Martin quality. Solid wood construction and tone. A new one will set you back $1399 at the superstores. Save some cash on this nice used example.
