Over the top and super deluxe! This White Falcon represents the best of the Gretsch line. Super expensive in their day, originals are rare and coveted by players and collectors. This is an early reissue from the Pre Fender days. All of the White Falcon trademarks are there. The single cutaway, hollow body is made of laminated maple for woody tone. The maple neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with humpblock inlays. Gold sparkle binding adorns this instrument adding to its deluxe looks. Dual Filtertron pickups offer a variety of tones. The famous Cadillac G tailpiece, sealed tuners and an Adjustomatic bridge keep it rock solid. The finish is gorgeous white set off by gold hardware. An incredible looking instrument that will delight many players and collectors.

This Falcon plays well and sounds nice. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The pickups sound great and the electronics work as they should. A very cool Gretsch. Condition wise, this is a nice 13 year old instrument. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some gold fade. A little yellowing on the front of the headstock. Nicely taken care of. Comes in original hardshell case with a period Gretsch catalog.

It doesn't get much crazier than a Falcon. As deluxe as it gets and the crown jewel of the Gretsch lineup. You will be seen as well as heard sporting this guitar. $3100 at the superstores, here's a cool one for less.
