2010 Gibson Aaron Lewis Signature Southern Jumbo! SOLD!

Click any picture for supersize view!

An exact recreation of Aaron Lewis' 1951 Gibson Southern Jumbo! Super quality and attention to detail! From a limited run of 413 pieces. Premium materials including a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. The 24.75 inch scale mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with aged pearloid parallelogram inlays. A Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup with sound hole mounted controls delivers big plugged in tone. A rosewood bridge and vintage Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous nitrocellulose lacquer and features an aging treatment not unlike Gibson's VOS guitars. Not an over the top relic but enough aging to make it look like a well loved vintage example. Very, very cool. Details include an Aaron Lewis silhouette truss rod cover. Even if you're not an Aaron Lewis fan, this Southern Jumbo would make a nice addition to your collection! Great tone, feel and workmanship.

This guitar was a pleasant surprise. Very nice tone and feel. It really reminded me of a vintage Gibson and is certainly one of the nicest sounding recent Gibson acoustics I've had in awhile. The action is medium and feels good. The pickup works great and delivers a surprisingly natural sound. I honestly considered putting a blank truss rod cover on it and throwing it in my arsenal to replace my long departed J-45. Obviously I really like this guitar and I think you will too. This is a great looking guitar too. It has the VOS finish which means it already has an aged look. It has the vibe of a lightly used guitar thanks to a factory dulled finish, aged hardware and light scratches. A cool look! This guitar is in New Old Stock condition. Almost zero playtime and showing only the slightest shopwear. As clean or cleaner than many guitar being sold as new in stores. Comes in original hardshell case with certificate.

This is a top notch guitar that will appeal to anyone that likes a vintage Gibson flat top. Super quality, great tone, and incredible looks. A new one will cost you $2799 in stores. Save some cash on this one!

Shelton’s Guitars is not an authorized Gibson/Epiphone Dealer. No factory warranty applies.
