Finally, a Jem that regular players can afford! Steve Vai's Jem signature models offered shredders a great combo of awesome looks and excellent features. Proudly made to the highest standards of quality, the Jem is the ultimate shred machine for many players. The body is basswood for good tone and features the trademark monkey grip. The 5 piece maple/walnut laminate neck features a maple fingerboard with 6105 frets. Ibanez Vintage 7 and 8 humbuckers team up with an Ibanez Single One for a variety of tones. An Ibanez Edge trem system and sealed tuners team up for rock solid whammy performance. The finish is classic white and is set off by a pearloid pickguard. A great guitar for anyone that wants a great performing instrument!
This Ibanez plays and sounds good. The neck is comfortable, the frets are fine and the action is low. The pickups deliver a variety of sounds. Everything works as it should. This is a NEW OLD STOCK condition guitar. It was leftover stock from a local store and shows only light shopwear. Straight from the stockroom! As nice or nicer than most hanging in the superstores! Comes in Ibanez Prestige hardshell case.
The Jem505 offers all of the best features of the Jem series without the expensive frills. At $1499, it's $1100 cheaper than the Jem signature model. My price is even lower.
