2009 Fender Classic Player Telecaster Thinline! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Inspired by a 1972 Tele Thinline, the Classic Player Thinline combines vintage vibe with some great modern features! This Thinline Tele offers classic Fender comfort and sounds along with semi hollow, humbucker smoothness. Very versatile with a warm tone but still able to get Fender sounds. Thinlines are one of my personal faves. The body is semi hollow and made of ash for resonant tones. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo. Dual Seth Lover (father of the Gibson PAF humbucker) designed humbuckers dish out killer tones. A string through bridge and F tuners keep it all rock solid. This example is finished in sunburst for a great look. A nice guitar for a variety of tones and styles! This Tele plays great and has a wonderful sound. The neck is straight, the frets are good and the action is low. The pickups dish out a variety of tones. The big frets and flat radius gives it a modern feel. Everything works as it should. A nice used guitar. It shows very little signs of use. Very light pick and clearcoat scratches are about it. Comes in a gigbag. I've long been a fan of the 70s Tele Thinlines. Unique with warm tones. Here's an update on a classic platform. A new one will set you back $799 in stores. Here's one for less. |
