The Epiphone G-400 Goth SG takes the classic SG outline and adds some malevolent touches. The body is mahogany and features the classic SG bevels. The set mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Dual high output alnico magnet humbuckers dish out big tone. Quality hardware includes a Stopbar tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and Grover tuners. The finish is a hip satin black and is contrasted by black plated hardware. It’s a thin, matte finish for good tone and vintage style looks. A great guitar for metal and other heavy styles!
I’ve been quite impressed with most recent Epis. The quality is good, they sound great and play fine for the money. An incredible value. This SG is no exception. Good feel and tone for the bucks. Everything works as it should. This is a NEW OLD STOCK guitar. It was leftover stock from a local store and shows only light shopwear. Straight from the stockroom! 100% 1st quality. Not a 2nd. As nice or nicer than most hanging in the superstores! Comes in a FREE lightweight gigbag!
