The body is made of alder for great tone. The 25.5 inch maple neck features 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 vintage style frets. A trio of Vintage Noiseless pickups are hooked to an innovative mood boost control for everything from sparkling clean to all out woman tone. Vintage style tuners and a blocked vibrato bridge round out the hardware. The finish is Pewter. A unique color and fairly uncommon as compared to the usual black. A great guitar for anyone needing great Strat tone.
Thanks to a comfy V neck, this Clapton Strat plays great. The frets are good and the neck is straight. The original Vintage Noiseless pickups dish out a ton of tones and the mid boost circuit adds lots of versatility. Everything from trademark Strat spank to Les Paul like crunch. A really cool instrument. This is a solid used guitar. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches as well as moderate belt wear and minor indents. Still very nice looking. Comes in original tweed hardshell case.
This guitar would make a great choice for both Clapton fans as well as anyone needing a great performing instrument. The pickup/electronics combo offer up a great array of tones. A new one will set you back $1599 in stores. Here's a great way to save some bucks on a nice used example.
