A great recreation of a 57 Strat in a classic color! Fender's American Vintage series recreates legendary instruments with great USA made quality. Nice attention to detail and excellent workmanship. This one is no exception. The body is alder for killer vintage tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. A trio of American Vintage single coils dish out big tone. Fender's classic trem and Kluson style tuners round out the package. The finish is Fender's classic sunburst. Very Buddy Holly! Cool looks and tone along with excellent USA made quality!
This Strat has good vintage tone and feel. The neck is comfy. The single coils deliver classic Fender Strat tone. Pretty much everything you want in a Strat. Condition wise, this would be a fine guitar for a player/ It shows moderate pick, clearcoat, and belt scratches as well as some dents and dings. There's some cool checking on the neck. Comes in original tweed case which is missing a latch.
It doesn't get much more classic than a sunburst maple neck Strat. Here's a cool one with a hip vibe. A new one will cost you $1599 in stores. Save on this used one.
