Here's a cool and fairly hard to find Jackson bass! Made in Japan. Many players prefer Japanese made instruments for their excellent quality, tone, and value. this bass is no exception. The body is made of poplar and has an interesting shape. Sort of a more ergonomic Jazz Bass. The 34 inch scale hard rock maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Upgraded EMG pickups in a P/J configuration deliver a variety of tones. An adjustable bridge and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is white and is set off by black hardware. A cool bass for the bucks!
This Jackson plays and sounds nice for the price. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The EMG pickups deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this is a solid used bass. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some indents. Normal playwear. Comes in a Jackson hardshell case which is has had one corner cracked out. Still functional, just not pretty.
If you dig a modern style bass but don't want to shell out big bucks, this Jackson would be a good choice. Nice quality for the bucks along with a unique look. How can you beat that?
