An incredible recreation of a 1955 Strat! Built to the highest standards of quality in the USA Custom Shop, this guitar nails the vibe of a classic! Great attention to detail and quality. The body is ash for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. The pickups have been upgraded to Dimarzio Area 58, 61 and 67 single coils with a 5 way switch. These pickups nail the sound of the vintage Fender single coils. The original pickups aren't included. A vintage tremolo and Kluson tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is 2 tone sunburst lacquer and is set off by white plastic. A great Strat that really captures the best of a vintage instrument!
This Strat plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The upgraded pickups sound excellent and deliver true vintage tone. A nice Strat. Condition wise, this one is for a player than a collector. It was originally a NOS but has playwear making it closer to a Closet Classic or even a light semi relic vibe. Moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as some dents and dings. Still a very nice looking guitar. Comes in original tweed case.
This is a great Strat with great vibe. Unfortunately Fender no longer offers a 55 reissue in the regular Time Machine series. The only way to get a 55 is by paying big bucks for a Limited Edition or Masterbuilt instrument. Here's your chance to grab a great Custom Shop Strat at a great price.
