A real Gibson acoustic at an incredibly low price! Handcrafted in Canada, Gibson's Songmaker series offers excellent quality with no frills. Excellent specs throughout. The top is solid spruce while the back and sides are solid rosewood for good projection and tone. The mahogany neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with dot inlays. Sealed chrome tuners and an ebony bridge keep it rock solid. The top is a gorgeous transparent gloss while the back and sides are satin natural. The matte satin natural finish lets all of the tone out while the gloss top is a nice upgrade. If you're looking at the Martin D-1, Taylor 114 or other guitars in this price range, you owe it to yourself to check out the Gibson DSR!
This is a nice acoustic for players on a budget. Nice tone and good quality. It actually sounds like a Gibson as well, possessing the big midrange of a J-45 or Hummingbird but with the added punch of solid rosewood. The neck is straight, medium action and good tone. No issues, repairs or problems. This is a NEW OLD STOCK guitar. It was leftover stock from a local store and shows only light shopwear. Straight from the stockroom! As nice or nicer than most hanging in the superstores! 100% 1st quality. Not marked as used or as a 2nd. Save big! Comes in original Gibson hardshell case.
Here’s a great chance to save some cash on a great guitar. The DSR doesn't look to be available anymore and were selling for around $1200 when new. Here's one that will save you big bucks!
