Pocket piano! The Hamer 12 string bass delivers a mini orchestra thanks to its unique configuration. Pioneered by Cheap Trick bassist Tom Petersson, the Hamer 12 string bass is one of the most unique instruments available. Full bodied, crunchy tone! Made in the USA, this example displays Hamer's world renowned quality and attention to detail. Excellent materials and construction. The body is made of mahogany for great tone and sustain while a flame maple top adds brightness and beauty. The 34 inch scale maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. EMG pickups translate the complex 12 string timbre. Schaller tuners and a proprietary Hamer bridge keep it all rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous cherry sunburst designed to evoke the look of the classic 59 Burst. It really sets off the gorgeous figure on the wood. Big and bold, the Hamer 12 string bass is an incredible addition to any bassist's tone toolbox!

This bass plays and feels great. The 12 string arrangement is easier to play than most would expect. The neck is straight and the action is good. The pickups deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. This is a nicely taken care of instrument. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches and some minor playwear. A very nice example. Comes in original (and very huge) hardshell case.

This bass is one of the most fun instruments I've had in stock for awhile. Really cool piano like tones with tons of growl. Great to look at too. Incredibly hard to find, these seldom come up for sale. The only one I could find new was over $3700. Here's your chance to grab a nice one.

SOLD!
