A real USA made Zakk Wylde signature model at a much lower price! Prior to the BFG Zakk Wylde, your only choice in a USA Zakk Wylde consisted of $4600 and up Custom Shop guitars. Here's a guitar that gives you the tone, looks and USA made quality for a lot less. Built on the stripped down BFG platform, the Zakk signature model delivers the goods. The chambered mahogany body features a carved maple serving up the classic Les Paul tonal recipe. The top is rough milled for a unique 3D look. The 24.75 inch scale maple neck (Zakk prefers maple for its stability and tone to the more common mahogany) features an ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays. EMG 81 and 85 active pickups deliver trademark metal tone. A Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is Gibson's raw BFG treatment. Basically just a thin coat of sealer over the wood for a raw feel and great tone. The top features Zakk's trademark buzz saw treatment. A really cool Les Paul that is made for metal!
This Les Paul is made to rock. The rounded 50s neck is meaty and feels great for big riffs. The EMG pickups are absolutely punishing and will send your amp into searing overdrive.
