Valley Arts USA California Pro! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Valley Arts was a company that was a precursor to the current boutique trend exhibited in builders like Suhr, Grosh, Tyler, etc. Hot Rod vintage inspired Super Strats with modern playability and features . You could even compare them to the early Charvel and Jackson guitars. Great instruments for shredders, studio cats and serious players. This California Pro is a top notch instrument. The body is alder for good tone. The maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets. The pickups are an HSS arrangement and I believe were made by Seymour Duncan. A Schaller Floyd Rose locking trem teams up with Valley Arts branded tuners for stable performance. the finish is a classic Lake Placid Blue and is set off by gold hardware and black plastic. A great performing guitar and an incredible value! This Valley Arts plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are fine. the pickups deliver a ton of tones. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this guitar shows some normal wear. Light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some gold fade. The pickguard has some residue probably from the original protective plastic. It may come off with elbow grease. Comes with a hardshell case. This is a great guitar for the player. Excellent performance and a great price. You probably won't see a better value than one of these. |
