The guitar that almost every 60's player owned! This is an amazingly cool recreation of the original Silvertone 1457L catalog guitars. Updated hardware and cool retro vibe. The body is made of semi hollow masonite for that trademark Dano tone. The 25 inch scale maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets and dot inlays. New and improved Dano lipstick pickups deliver the tone of the original vintage units. A hardtail bridge with adjustable saddles and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a retro gold. The finish and hardware are matte "no gloss" satin look. It really gives the guitar a vintage vibe. A fun retro guitar with tone to spare!
This Dano plays well and has nice tone. The neck is straight and the frets are good. The pickups dish out cool retro tone. Everything works as it should. A fun guitar. This is a nice used guitar. Basically new old stock condition showing only some very light clearcoat scratches. The tape at the cutaways is a little loose. No big deal as this is a common thing on recent Danos. As nice or nicer than many you would find new in stores. Comes in a gigbag.
This guitar is tons of fun for the bucks. Vintage Danos and Silvertones are bringing big bucks these days. Grab the vibe and tone at a fraction of the price. Dano no longer offers this guitar so this may be your best chance to grab one.
