Solid mahogany neck with a slim taper and a rosewood fingerboard for easy playability. The bridge pickup is a hot 500T at the bridge and a 496R at the neck. Nashville Tuneomatic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece for rock solid tone. The Grover mini Rotomatic tuners are dependable and accurate. The black lacquer finish is classic and makes for a cool look. Rock guitars don't get much cooler than an Explorer!
This Explorer plays and sounds good. Straight neck with nice action. The pickups sound good and the electronics work great. This guitar is in New Old Stock condition. Almost zero playtime and showing only the slightest shopwear. As clean or cleaner than many guitar being sold as new in stores. Comes in original hardshell case.
