FREE Epiphone hardshell case! Ah, there’s nothing quite like a Goldtop! To yours truly, they are about as vintage a look as you can get. Dang classy and oh so cool with a 1950’s vibe. Unfortuntaely, most Gibsons are priced outside what mere mortals can afford. Lucky for us that Epiphone makes such a cool recreation! I’ve had tons of Epiphone Les Pauls over the years and I’ve been continually impressed with the always improving quality. All of the specs of the big Gibson without the price tag. Mahogany body with a carved maple top for the trademark tone. The 24.75 inch scale mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Dual HOT Alnico magnet humbuckers dish out big time tone. Quality hardware includes a Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece, and Grover Rotomatic tuners. The bullion gold top with dark mahogany sides looks great. A really great package for chump change!
I’ve been quite impressed with most recent Epis. The quality is good, they sound great and play fine for the money. An incredible value. This Les Paul is no exception. Good feel and tone for the bucks. Everything works as it should. This is a NEW OLD STOCK guitar. It was leftover stock from a local store and shows only light shopwear. Straight from the stockroom! As nice or nicer than most hanging in the superstores! 100% first quality, not a blem or a 2nd. COMES WITH FREE EPIPHONE HARDSHELL CASE! Killer deal!
I looked around and as near as I can tell, you can no longer get an Epi LP with humbuckers and a gold finish. Also, this one is one of the older Korean made models and not a Chinese built one. These things don’t matter much to me but some players care. I will mention that these Korean made ones were more expensive than recent ones and would sell for $599.99 in stores when new. Plus another $89 for the case. You can't beat this deal.
