1995 Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus Flame Top! SOLD!

Click any picture for supersize view!

All of the performance of The Les Paul Studio with the added beauty of a flame maple top! The Studio Series offers players all of the essential ingredients of a Les Paul but without the crazy price tag. The body is mahogany for nice warm tone while the carved top is maple for brightness. This one features a gorgeous figured maple top.  The 24.75 inch scale mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers dish out big tone. A Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Kluson style tuners add to the sustain and stability of this guitar. The finish is Gibson's classic wine red lacquer and is set off by factory gold plated hardware. A very classy looking Les Paul!

This Les Paul has nice feel and tone. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. The pickups sound nice and warm. All electronics work as they should. This is a nice used guitar showing normal wear. It has moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as some small indents. Pickguard is MIA and the gold shows normal fade. Nothing major for a player. Comes in a gigbag.

This is easily one of the nicest looking Studios I've seen in a long time. Deluxe looks that rival the much more expensive Standards. Made in the USA in the same factory as the more expensive guitars, the Studios are a bang for the buck champ. A new Studio in wine red will run you $1319 in the superstores and you won't get the flame top as Gibson discontinued the Plus series long ago. Here's one for a lot less that looks even better.
